what is the flesh good for but the heart that unlocks its worth

Indeed...
physical
-to the naked eye-
within four mere walls i reside,
retained by my door;
rusty iron bars they seem...
lifeless i seem,
soul-less my flesh;

rushing through violent current-
wading upstream
forced by its own desire,

leaving its corpse to seek
only the key to unlock its door;
the heart is key;
unforgable,
unreplacable,
the only key that could fit the lock.

seeking desperately,
wishing it needn't,
secretly trying to break the locks himself,
yet the locks of pure steel refuse to budge...

so pursuing the only key it does........
